The hotel is amazing : the room the service it was all just perfect until we have try the dinner buffet , R1500 + %18 tax for poor selection of mediocre food , Just because it's the only hotel in town dose not make it right to over charge your gusts for a poor dinner

We were so impressed with this beautiful property where we were supposed to stay 1 night, but ended up staying 2. Tranquil, well appointed, outstanding service, exceptional food, magical, beautiful rooms. Nice pool area to escape to as well as sitting areas all over the courtyard with gorgeous plants.

This was not the most luxurious hotel we had in Rajasthan, but it was for sure the most beautiful hotel/experience. We had a very large suite with the living room upstairs. Everything was furnished and decorated nicely. There was everything in the room one could wish for. But the real beauty was in the garden which is being kept with so much love. It is extremely beautiful. Luckily we had a lot of time to enjoy it in the afternoon and in the evening. We also had the pleasure to enjoy a very nice massage. There was a music performance in the evening, just for us. Beautiful view from the rooftop over the river and the landscape. There is an inviting pool, but it was too cold for us in January… The staff was excellent and the food delicious. Even though we were only the two of us we had a very large and fantastic breakfast buffet in the morning. I would recommend everyone on the road from Jodhpur to Udaipur to have a stop here and enjoy a peaceful day or two.

Our favourite hotel on a recent trip to India that saw us stay at a range of heritage hotels. On the face of it, less luxurious than other places we stayed at – but so full character and charm that it more than made up for any unnecessary frills. The property is arranged around a beautiful central garden and several other courtyards, one of which includes the swimming pool. Rooms are spacious and well-appointed, and the whole place is presided over by a seasoned manager who seems across every little detail. In our experience, this tends to be the biggest difference between so-so and truly memorable hotels. While the area around Rohet Garh doesn't - at first sight - have that much to offer, we actually wish we had had more time to explore it. The Village Safari is most certainly a must.

What an amazing property with great heritage. The staff were mostly very friendly and helpful. The hotel manager was fantastic and attended to each guest individually. Everything was great for our stay there except the morning breakfast. The spread was really catering to the non-Indian guests. That is the only thing I think they need to improve on else it was a great stay. Keep up the great work!
